Provided General Counsel and Claims Manager services for a large national engineering firm from 1980 until 2000 and performed the role of an informal project neutral and advisor for many significant project disputes which were resolved early and inexpensively without the need to resort to more adversarial dispute resolution procedures. The firm's construction management department was also restructured and retrained to introduce dispute avoidance and early dispute resolution practices, reducing claim settlements and litigation costs by more than 80%. |
