Description: Risk mitigation is a successful strategy when clients refuse to negotiate reasonable contract terms. Strategies for mitigating risks to acceptable levels that address lawyer and senior management concerns about high-risk contracts are discussed. The barriers to effective risk mitigation and methods to overcome them are explored. Helpful tools and methods are provided to gain contract approval when you can't get preferred contract language clauses. Learning Objectives: 1.
