CSG's consulting work on major project disputes has identified a need for more effective project owner training in new techniques for managing project cost overruns and disputes. As a result, CSG has developed a series of all-day workshops focused on public and private project owners, and their design and legal advisors, to address strategies to improve contracts and contracting practices to prevent and managing cost overruns and disputes.

Workshops include leading attorneys, design professionals, construction managers and owner contract management personnel to provide important perspectives on the root causes of these issues, and to identify effective implementation methods to improve contracting practices. These highly-qualified presenters lead interactive case studies to discuss best contracting practices. Key negotiation and claim resolution skills and techniques are demonstrated during the workshops.

Many of CSG's workshops are videotaped and are available on DVDs for self-study, group study by location or entity-wide licensing arrangements. Each DVD program includes a set of materials prepared by the presenters especially for the workshop and includes invaluable reference materials.
